A new public service announcement by Chi Chi LaRue has been released talking about the importance of safe sex. The message focuses on sex within the porn industry, and one of the most astounding statistics mentioned in the PSA is the increase in new HIV infections amongst gay men aged 15-24.
The video found on the website may not be safe for the workplace, but the message is an important one that is worth listening to. |

After consideration by the NTAAC Board, it has been decided to dissolve the organization as a separate entity, and transfer the organization as a project of the Collin Equality Foundation. The Collin Equality Foundation was a key supporter of NTAAC during its formation, and this decision provides an opportunity to expand the focus of NTAAC. This transition will also provide a stronger foundation towards the establishment of the North Texas Chapter of the NAMES Project Foundation. More information will be available following the transition. |

The World AIDS Campaign has chosen “Leadership” as the theme for the 2007 and 2008 World AIDS Days. Promoted with the slogan, “Stop AIDS. Keep the Promise.”, which
is the World AIDS Campaign emphasis from 2005-2010, “leadership” will build on
the 2006 World AIDS Day focus on accountability. World AIDS Day is celebrated on

The North Texas AIDS Awareness Coalition will be developing its 2007 and 2008 programs around this theme, and more information will be available in late March 2007.
